When you find them like this you forget about how they fought going to sleep. You forget about the arguments they had with their brothers. You forget about how they fed the dogs their dinner when your back was turned. You forget about the Sharpie markings you found on the dresser. You forget about that tantrum afterschool. You forget how loud they can scream when they don't get their way. You forget about the trail of ants to the desk in their bedroom that is storing a secret candy stash.You forget how they asked for water, wanted the lights left on, snuck to the restroom, and then made their way to the couch in the office (with books in tow) before finally passing out.

You want to remember this forever.

Awww.... that's so sweet, I just posted something similar yesterday. It's so hard to watch them grow up isn't it? Those pictures are DARLING!

it's true. sometimes it feels like i put my kindergartener to bed 100 times, but he is so cute after i want to wake him up and hug him for being impatient with him
