recovering.

Photobucket
I am home.  I have all of my teeth.

The experience was no where near as traumatic as I had anticipated.  The tooth they put in the space you see above is a temporary...approximately 6 months.  They cannot put the permanent tooth which will be beautified, until the tissue and bone completely adhere to the implant.  So for now there are no "after" pictures because the temporary is not anything to brag about.  I will continue to master the Mona Lisa a bit longer... in the big picture of life, it will be worth it in the end.

Extra special thank you to my nurse, Caitie, who was my chauffuer, pharmacist, restroom escort, photographer, post-meal maker, note-taker, and most of all cheerleader.  Thank you for not laughing at me as the happy drugs made me walk sideways into walls.  You are a good friend to me.

Girl! You've been through it these past few days!

How are you?

All I can say is that you were such a champ through this whole experience. It was my pleasure to be there as you were a wonderful and very easy patient!
