Today is a big day. Hunter starts 4th grade. Davin starts 2nd grade. Avery has her first day of Kindergarten. What a blessing that they are all right next door to my school. I will have 38 students lined up outside my classroom door at approximately 8 a.m.
Backpacks are packed. School supplies are labeled. Lunches are ready in the refrigerator. Clothes are ironed. Coffee pot timer is on. Alarm clock is set. You Tube clips are cued up on my laptop at school. And this pile of nose pencil sharpeners are individually wrapped for my new students with tags that read "Mrs. Ancich "nose" you will have a successful year at Granada".
Who knows? This year might be the best yet...that is what I'm hopin' for.
