It never fails.  6:15.  Like a rooster.  No matter how late the night before, he is up before the rest of us at the crack of dawn.  Most days I'm greeted by Davin and reruns of Sponge Bob.  I love this about summer.  No alarm clocks, just body clocks.

Whether its digging the deepest holes, riding the most waves, or playing some sand football... the beach  is our one stop shop for all thing's summer.  After yesterday's fun outing with friends, I have a feeling will be seeing a lot of our favorite spot this summer.

Although it hasn't been slept in...  its been played in, wrestled in, set up, filled up, zipped up, and even fought in.  The kids are enjoying their summer backyard retreat.

its all GREEK to me

Greek Day 2012.  The 12th annual.  This year was unique for several reasons.  The entire 6th grade was involved and in costume, as well as Hunter and my niece Annika got to partake for the first time.  It was a day filled with Greek based learning, performances on stage, and a feast with friends.  Having the event on such a large scale for the first time had its share of challenges, but I believe the students will look back on the day as a favorite.
