plant cell models.

The edible type.  36 of them.  All Hunter.  2 days in the kitchen and a 1/2 hour in the candy aisle at the grocery store with a science text book in his hand (where was my camera at THAT moment?)...he was assigned this extra credit project almost 2 weeks ago.  His light bulb went on one night at dinner... and I was thrilled. They are adorable and he couldn't be prouder.  And off to 5th grade they go...

adorable! my middle schooler just made a big cell cake. same idea. super cute presentation :)

That's sooo cute. I remember making a cake that showed a section of a flower in 6th grade. I think my dad spent $20 just on the candy for that. Loved projects like that

I saw these in person today. So cute! I had a bunch of fifth graders excited to tell me all about cells at recess.
