Hoopin' havoc

My sixth graders are selling magazines for our school fundraiser. Tomorrow all the top selling teachers are competing in a lunch time hula hoop contest. One problem...I have never been able to hula hoop??? I went door to door asking neighbors to borrow a hula hoop so I could practice (as I promised my students I would)... and little did I know, the best teacher lives right under my own roof! Enter the expert...





This definitely dispells the myth that hula hooping is a genetically inherited talent. Davin could spin that hula hoop for minutes at a time. We sat there in awe watch his body wiggle so fast. Amazing. Wish me luck tomorrow...maybe they'll let me spin it on my arm?!?!
