Drive In Night

Mission Tike Drive In in Montclair.  Ice Age 4.  $7 for adults ages 10 and up.  $1 for kids 9 and under. Coupons for free nachos and popcorn.  A warm and breezy summer night out with the radio tuned to 106.9 for sound.  We surprised the kids after asking them to jump in the truck with a pillow, blanket, and a sweatshirt.  They were so excited as they saw the signs.

Another item crossed off the summer bucket list.  We'll be back to do this one again for sure.

ASB Leadership camp.  3 days 2 nights.  UCSB in Santa Barbara.  All girls and Hunter.  His biggest fear was the unknown roommate from another school.  I started to have anxiety over his anxiety...

Turns out he wasn't assigned a roommate at all.  Got the whole dorm room to himself.  So how does a 12 year old that shares a room with his brother and a bed with a dog nightly feel about being alone for 2 nights in a big old dorm?  Time will tell...

Orange County All Star Game

Dusan had the unique opportunity to coach the North Team for the Orange County All Star Game this year.  Practices started a month in advance allowing him to work with the cream of the crop from a variety of schools in North Orange County.  He will now have an even longer list of names to follow during the college season as many of these boys are on their way with scholarships around the country. An awesome experience from start to finish.
