its gonna be tough...

...going away to the Huntington Beach Waterfront Hilton for the weekend.

...attending the much anticipated wedding of Jeff & Caitie (whom I predicted would be married the night I met her).

...sipping cocktails poolside before, during, and after the rehersal dinner.

...having my boys dressed up in these...

...and politely ushering all of the guests to their seats.

...seeing the cutest flower girl ever sparkling down the aisle...




It's gonna be tough...but someone's got to do it.

And so I shall.

I received an email from Kodak Gallery notifying me that my account had been "inactive" for quite sometime... I decided to delve into the archives which organized my life in photos prior to the birth of ye old blog...

I am so glad I did.  Would you look at those curls of yester year?

I loved this day. I loved that she worshipped Alice for 2 straight years. And I loved those curls.

Happy carnival, soccer game, birthday party, soccer game, football game, one more soccer game, and mud run-filled weekend to you.

back to the gym.

Yesterday, Davin and his Cub Scout Pack headed to the Santa Fe Springs Acitivity Center to earn their gymnastics belt loops.  Davin used to take classes there before soccer, and it definitely reminded him that he missed the sport.  I think I see a summer session in our future.

3.  Lanie must be on the table, in case there were to be an accidental spill.

5.  napkin in your lap.
6.  use Crystal Light.  it tastes better.

I have experienced quite a few instances recently of being in the right place at the right time. 

Did that really just happen?  It must have been meant to be.  Luck.  Stars aligning. Balance.  A sense of calm.

I don't want it to end.  Everything just feels right.  Everything is flowing...smooth sailing.  It is so easy to get caught up in what's not going right. 

I hope I don't regret saying it, but life is good right now.  Really good.

I better run and knock on some wood.  Quick.






Not that it changes my overall outlook on life, however after posting this I did have a flat tire, the nurse at the kids' school did call to say Avery had gotten sick, and just 2 hours after washing my car it poured rain.  Ironic?

But life really is still good.
