from now til the 4th

These swag banners are always a sign that summer is just an army crawl away.  They are the visible glue that binds Memorial Day to July 4th in our house.  The final stretch is before us and it couldn't be any busier.  Leaving the house at 7 a.m. only to return after 8 p.m. these past 3 days is not glamorous by any means.  I long for the evenings with a cold beverage sitting in those red adirondacks while the kids play endlessly with the neighbors in the cul de sac.  10 school days to go.  We got this.
