and on that note...

this little smile...
Photobucket
is delivering this little note today...
Photobucket
Let me translate in case you don't read phonics:

"To Mrs. Caputo. Today I will face forward and I will listen to you.  Sorry for talking to my friends.  Love Avery"

Not sure where she gets it, but if my memory serves me correctly, someone somewhere told me its called being social?  hmmmph!

I'm hoping (and praying) that this letter writing activity will make somewhat of an impression.                On Avery.

Since school started, weekends have taken on a whole new meaning.  Finding... no make that seeking... relaxation in every shape and form.

happy weekend.

Hi. You know, I am just terrible at remembering my internet wanderings. I forget if I found your blog from the comment section of a blog, or if you were on somebody's blogroll, or if I found you on an internet surf. I just remember seeing your blog title and clicking on it because I love colors. I had to comment because your photos are just gorgeous.

The font I used is called Cursive Standard. It's a free font that I downloaded from dafont.

BA HA HA HA! I got the biggest laugh out of this one. I've been there. It used to be on my report cards. "Sara needs to be less social during class" "Sara needs to pay more attention to what's going on and less to her friends"... it's a hard one to break, never worked for me. She's a girl. Good luck to you.. :0)

Being (social) was always a problem I had in school too, Avery.
I know Mrs. Caputo loved your note, to cute Sara. Miss you guys

I had to write a few of those notes during my time in elementary school :)
Have a great weekend!

That's so great! Just two weeks ago, Bailey had to write a very similiar note with a grounding to go with it! I'm sure we won't have any of that anymore although I know we know where our girls get it! We are so in for it...
