in her shoes.

Photobucket

This is Ali.  She is superwoman.  Ali is a wife and a mother of three young boys.  Ali is a business owner.  Ali is a friend and a daughter.

Most importantly, Ali is a survivor.  Cancer.

Yesterday, I had the honor of shadowing/ documenting/ photographing Ali as she attended her preventative care appointments at USC Norris Cancer Hospital in Los Angeles.  Ali's story can be read here.  Ali is one of several patients being profiled for her treatment at the Cancer hospital.

Thank you to the Lynne Cohen Foundation for entrusting me to be a part of this incredible project.   The images will be published in Lynne Cohen Foundation's Annual Report sent to 30,000+ supporters nationwide, Quarterly E-newsletter emailed to 9,000 supporters nationwide, as well as a brochure promoting the Lynne Cohen Preventive Care Clinic for Women's Cancers at USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.

This was the most powerful photography assignment I've had yet.  A complete honor.
