site seeing in SF

The morning after the wedding we did the fastest site-seeing tour of San Francisco possible. Here are the kids at the top of Lombard with Alcatraz in the background.

The caution sign at the top of Lombard Street: The curviest street in the world. We walked to the bottom and then back up to the top. Then the kids inisisted we drive it to complete the experience.

No trip to SF would be complete without a ride on a Cable Car: $5 a person one-way... ouch.

The results of shopping with street vendors. Davin was especially excited because he can never find anything with his name spelled correctly....Always Devon or Gavin...never Davin.

Coit Tower: An impressive view of the city below.

The kids favorite: China Town...Lots of dead animals hanging in the windows. Not the freshest smelling part of the city either.

Avery took part in some authentic chow mein. When the kids got hungry, Davin inquired, "Where's the closest Panda Express around here?" Good Luck.

My favorite souveneir purchase was this China Doll dress and shoes for under $20 bucks. I am thinking we will have a geisha girl in the house come next Halloween...

All these sites in under 3 hours...phew!

I love the Chinatown dead animal photo... nothing says family vacay like a carcass.

The kids looks like they had quite the adventure this week... I'm looking forward to hearing all about it- but not actually going back to work.
