With this incredible spring-feeling weather we are having, i thought it would be a great day to do some planting. All of our backyard pots had that "tired from winter" look. So it was off to Lowe's for plants and seeds...
Avery was excited to get right into the mix of things and lend a hand.
Not too shabby!
While pulling out the old plants we dug up this beauty that resembled the human heart more than an over-grown potatoe.
We have found these potatoes in our planters two years in a row.
And there is nothing better on a Saturday afternoon than a nice long nap. I am well aware of how lucky I am, that my 8 and 7 year old both go down for a nap still , with no questions asked.
And this one has perfected the art of "faking it". Funny girl.
